ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS | with 6 flavor variations

Roasted Brussels sprouts are addictively crunchy and the perfect side dish for almost any occasion. Roasting the Brussels sprouts in the oven turns them crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and brings out their subtle sweetness.

And remember, it’s Brussels sprouts, not Brussel sprouts. According to Wikipedia, these little cruciferous vegetables got their name from the city of Brussels, where they were cultivated way back in the 13th century!

But the good news is that they’re super easy to make in the oven. Make sure to click the blog post below for my flavor variations and recommended recipes to accompany them. Enjoy!

Which flavor variation was your favorite? To be honest, I roast them with olive oil, salt and pepper the most often – can't beat simple! But then a balsamic bacon option is usually my second favorite, followed by the honey mustard. 😉 Hope you enjoy! xo – Lisa

Great video! I prefer (and love) classic roasting. Question- do you recommend using convection when roasting with this recipe? Thanks!

Thank you so much for all yours so very delicious recipes. I did not like very much to cook, but with your simple and delicious way of cooking, now i cook every day !

I love this recipe and I did not know the proper spelling, thanks. Very good instructions. I like the different flavors. This is great for a holiday side-dish. Thanks.

Love watching your videos. This recipes look delicious. On a different note you wouldn't have a buffalo sauce recipe that you would care to share with the community by any chance , would you.

This isn’t a new recipe for me really, but I haven’t ever considered placing Brussels sprouts face down on the baking pan for equal roasting on the cut surface! I also didn’t really think about how it’s Brussels sprouts and not brussel sprouts. Thanks for sharing Lisa!

Those sauces look great! I love Brussels sprouts. The last time I made them I roasted them with some bacon pieces and maple syrup. They were amazing! I'm definitely going to try the maple mustard sauce.
