Deliciously easy Cinnamon Honey Butter Mashed Sweet Potatoes are a delightful side dish to add some sweet flavor to your dinner.

• 3 to 4 pounds sweet potatoes peeled and cubed
• 1/2 cup salted butter
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/3 cup milk
• 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)

1️⃣ 00:00:35 – Place cubed sweet potatoes into a large pot. Fill with water to cover. Place on the stove and bring to a boil over high heat.

2️⃣ 00:00:49 – Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer sweet potatoes until tender (15-20 minutes). Drain well.

3️⃣ 00:01:04 – Transfer sweet potatoes to a large mixing bowl while still hot. Add in butter, honey, cinnamon, milk, and salt (optional). Mash using a potato masher, or use a hand mixer to blend until smooth and well combined.

Hello The Stay At Home Chef…….thank you for video……you answered one question regarding using Yams…… other questions is the butter you used is "salted" butter or "unsalted" butter??…i always buy unsalted butter since most foods I used it on already contains sodium….and….the milk you used is regular cow whole milk??….or….sweetened Carnation milk can??…..thank you

Thank you for keeping this simple I ran into one vid where the guy forbid boiling the sweet potatoes because he said they would be too watery🙄. But your method was just fine💯

Sweet potatoes are already sweet so it was a little too sweet for my liking. Kinda tasted like a scone. My brain and mouth was confused. There alright but i like my garlic and butter instead. Keep it classic.
