Tikoy



Tikoy is the Filipino version of mochi. Mochi is glutinous rice with sugar. There are so many variations and versions of mochi in China, Japan, Korea, Hongkong, Singapore, and other Asian countries. Tikoy in the Philippines is often rolled in roasted, crushed peanuts and filled with peanut butter. But you can do more modern versions like filling them with cheese, ube haleya. and other spreads. Tikoy is quick to make and even quicker to eat 🙂
