Matar Pulao – no onion no garlic
In this video you will learn:
1. How to fluff up every single rice strand
2. How to retain bright green colour of peas

Recipe-
Ingredients:
Rice 1cup
Peas 1cup
Water 2cups
Ghee 4tbsp
Cashews 10
Ginger 1tbsp
Garam masala powder 1tsp
Sugar 1/4tsp
Lemon juice 1tsp
Salt to taste
Whole spices – hing, cumin seeds, bay leaf, green cardamom, black cardamom, cloves, black peppercorns, star anise, cinnamon stick

Method:
-Rinse well and Soak long grain basmati rice for min. 30mins.
-Heat Ghee in s pan add in whole spices
-Fry cashews till golden brown
-Add in ginger. Saute
-Add in soaked rice and saute it well
-Pour water and let it boil
-Add in garam masala powder, salt n sugar.
-After water boils add in fresh green peas.
-Mix well and cook covered for only 5mins on low-medium flame.
-Swtich off the flame and keep covered for 5 more mins before serving. Matar Pulao is ready:)
