1 KG Coconut Rice Preparation || Dawat Rice Recipe In Hindi #shorts



Ingredients ::

1 Kg Basmati Rice
2 Coconuts
2 coconuts water
9 – 10 Green chilli
2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp Salt
8 – 10 Large size Onions sliced
A hand full of Cilantro
A handful of Mint leaves
200 ml Oil
50 ml Ghee (Purified butter)
Whole Garam masala

Garam masala ingredients :
2 – 3 Bay leaves
1 Star Anise
1 black stone flower
3-4 Green Cardamom
3-4 Cloves
3 Cinnamon sticks
1 Large Cardamom

How to prepare ::

In a heavy bottom Vessel
Add 200 ml Oil
+ 50 ml Ghee (Purified butter)
When Ghee melts add

Whole Garam masala
And saute for few seconds

After few seconds add
Sliced Onions

With high flame saute
Onions for 8-10 minutes
By covering the lid

After 10 minutes Onions are Translucent
Now with slow flame cover cook onions
until it becomes soft and golden colour

In between we will prepare
Coconut Milk
For that cut coconut into small pieces and

Add Coconuts water + Some water +
Coconut pieces to a Mixie Jar
And Grind it into smooth paste

When paste is ready
Add 500 ml Water

Filter this to
Separate Milk… Now in this way with first Grinding Coconut
1 Litre Milk prepared
With the remaining precipitated after filtering from the first Grind add
1 Litre Water and
Grind once again for more milk
So that total 2 Litres milk we have to prepare..
From the second grind last precipitated we will Discard.. As there will be no milk remaining to it

When 2 Litres Coconut Milk is ready keep aside

Now return to Onions vessel.. When
Onions are perfectly sauteed with soft and golden colour

Add Ginger Garlic paste
and saute for few seconds

Add Green chilli + Salt
and saute for few seconds

Make the flame High and
Add 2 Litres Coconut Milk (for 1 Kg Rice we need 2 Litres Coconut Milk)

Add chopped Cilantro and
Chopped Mint leaves
Cover and let the Milk start to boil
When
Coconut milk started to boil

Add washed and Soaked Rice.. After
Adding washed and soaked Rice. Mix and
Cover cook until maximum water dries

When maximum water dried out
Make the flame slow. Turn Rice upside down once.. (optional)

And keep it in Dum for 8-10 minutes

After 10 minutes switch off the flame. And keep it as it is for 5-6 minutes
Now Coconut Rice is ready to serve

Serve with any Gravy preparation
