ब्राउन राइस लड्डू | Brown Rice Ladoo | Urpel Arita Laddu | Udupi Delicacy



Ingredients & method :
brown rice 1 cup
roast on low flame till the rice starts to puff up.
rice changes its colour & starts to puff up.
Switch off the flame & let it cool down .
grind to a fine powder.
In a pan add
jaggery -3/4 th cup
water -1/2 cup
bring to a boil.
stir till the jaggery melts, this will take 5 minutes.
grated coconut -1/2 cup
give it a mix.
switch off the flame.
cardamom powder -1/4 tsp
chopped almonds -10 nos.
Ground rice powder
ghee -1 tbsp
Gently mix every thing and start making laddoos immediately,
don’t let the mix cool down.
Shelf life is 5-6 days if stored in airtight container.
