Mmm strawberries Does anyone know if I can use preserves instead of real strawberries since strawberries are so expensive here

Made the chocolate chip ones today. They tasted just like traditional ones. The only problem was the oil, I would recommend using 1/4 cup so they’re not to greasy. Another problem was the fact that they didn’t achieve a good consistency to be eaten with your hands after coming out of the oven (even after cooling to room temperature) I had to put them in the freezer for 20-30 minutes for them to keep there shape. So if you like your cookies warm it’s better to use 1/4 or 1/2 cup of butter (50g or 100g) to make them more consistent when they cool down

Does anyone have any recommendations to substitute the eggs with in these recipes?

Cake mix cookies are fun. Usually I can just get cake mix, throw in eggs and sometimes oil and bake them and it’s candy tasting. Deftinetly trying the snickerdoodle ones, I love snickerdoodles.

I tried making cookies similar to the first one, but I used butter instead of oil, which made them more like regular cookies, and only used one egg. I also added about a 1/4 cup of milk, which improved the texture.

I wonder if I can use butter cake mix for the chocolate chip cookies
