How To Melt White & Milk Chocolate Chips



I love chocolate covered treats, but have a little bit of trouble when it come to melting chocolate. Jada shows us how to melt white and milk chocolate chips on the stove top. In the next video we will cover over favorite snacks with chocolate.

    I use coconut oil and I make sure I have a movie on so I can step away long enough to let it melt. tonight's I made sugar-free chocolate coconut clusters

  15. I don’t recommend using olive oil. You need to use a flavorless oil when melting the chocolate.

    Chocolate chips are formulated for cookies, not for melting since it has stabilizers. Olive oil is high in flavor and it can ruin the flavor of chocolate unless if you like the flavor in your chocolate. Adding too much oil will effect the consistency when setting up. Try to use good quality chocolate for melting like Ghirardelli or Lindt or go high-end and try Valrhona or Callebaut. Hope this helps! 🙂

    I am making white chocolate buckeyes on a large scale. I melted the wax first poured in the chips after let it sit for a bit and came and stored it. It seased up and not dunkable. What do I do

    Omg, you even have the same chocolate chips as me, the last time I did this, I was being lazy and just tossed it in the microwave, and it started burning, so I added milk… and that didn't help either, thanks guys

    Thank you for this video. That's exactly what happened to me with the white chocolate getting hard and would not melt. I even used Ghirardelli chocolate thinking because it's more expensive I wouldn't have a problem. I was wrong lol before doing the stove top method I put the chocolate into the microwave and I burned it 🤦🤦🤦
